Scott Raymond Hirshey

Scott Raymond Hirshey, age 66, passed away October 3, 2020.

Scott was the beloved husband of Diane Hirshey; son of the late John and the late Ruth Hirshey; brother of Gary (Judy) Hirshey, the late Nancy Berry, the late John Hirshey; brother-in-law of Christine Hirshey, Barbara (John William) Kaleto, Susan (the late George) Matus, David (Laura) Marcelewski, and Karen (Anthony) Schrader; and Godfather of Julie Hirshey.  He was also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Scott was an avid boater.  He just loved to be by the water and every time he got near it, it made him so happy.  His other passions included woodworking and just generally being a Mr. Fix-it.  His family would say that if it was broke and he couldn’t fix it, it couldn’t have been fixed.  Scott loved to gather together with his friends and family.  He was never the life of the party but always enjoyed a good party.

Memorial Service Friday, October 16, visiting from 10:30 a.m. until the Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 4401 Bart Avenue, Warren. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
