Robert J. Krenzel

Robert J. Krenzel, age 75, passed away February 4, 2023.

Robert was the devoted father of Carolyn and Zackery Krenzel; dear brother of Allen (Debbie) Krenzel and Janet Thompson; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Robert was born to John and Marie Krenzel on September 13, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan and he was raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. He graduated from Wayne State University and earned his MBA. He had various career paths over the years which saw him working at GM, EDS, and Kelly Temp Services. His spiritual needs were met for a time at the Fisherman's Net Church in Utica and, most recently, at Woodside Bible Church in Troy. Robert loved to be in nature, particularly he enjoyed sailing. But it did not satisfy him to just observe nature; he loved to learn about the intricacies, obscure knowledge, and facts that are just underneath our perceptions. Above all, Robert loved his children and was very devoted to them. He tried very hard to be in their lives even though they lived in New York State, which his van can testify to because of all the miles he racked up on it.

Visitation Wednesday, February 8, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Woodside Bible Church, 6600 Rochester Road, Troy, Michigan.
