Joann J. (Smigielski) Boyer

Joann J. Boyer, age 70, passed away February 19, 2020.

Joann was the beloved wife of the late Donald Boyer; loving mother of Christopher (Melissa) Boyer and David Boyer; devoted grandmother of Michael and Natalie Boyer; and dear sister of Chester Smigielski.

Joann was happiest in life when her family was happy.  Being a wife and mother gave her a life of purpose, happiness, and gratitude.  She loved to help her loved ones, friends, and family whenever called upon, truly having an open door policy with anyone and everyone.  Her giving spirit was also expressed by her passion in caring for her many pets over the years.

In her leisure time, Joann enjoyed knitting, crocheting, going bowling with her friends, and taking trips down to the casinos. 

Visitation Wednesday, February 26, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society, 20450 Civic Center Drive, Southfield, MI 48076.
