Remembering Jhamere Leon aka “Mere Mere”

Jhamere Leon Ogden, 24 was born on January 14, 1999, at Sinai Grace Hospital to George Leon Ogden & Dorothy Antoinette Williams in Detroit, Michigan. Jhamere was truly blessed and grateful to have gained a second Father, Ricky Darcey Haynes, who guided and loved Jhamere unconditionally through this journey called life.

Jhamere, loved to be a prankster. He was known, for acting silly, pulling pranks, and joking around with family and friends. But his greatest joy was spending time with his two sons, Kingsley and Kaiden.

Jhamere, attended Carlson & Pinewood Elementary School, in Warren, Michigan he also attended several High Schools where he met friends at Warren Woods Tower, Cousino, and Enterprise Continuing Education Center. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed football, basketball, and playing video games. He became a member of several football leagues such as; Michigan Wolverine 203, Detroit, Michigan, Warren, Jets, Warren, Michigan, and he played for a league in New Orleans, Louisiana before he moved back to Detroit, Michigan with his family. He grew to have a great appreciation for the game.

Jhamere made his transition on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at William Beaumont Hospital, in Royal Oak, Michigan to his eternal resting place.

Jhamere leaves to cherish in his loving memories his parents; Dorothy (Ricky Darcey Haynes) ; Dad, George Leon Ogden; Brother, Jaimonte Williams-Ogden and niece (Taylor Williams) ; Audrey Walls, Mother of his two beautiful children, Kingsley Leon and Kaiden Eugene Ogden ; Aunt Melissa Williams and cousins, Marcelius, Markida, and Ronald Williams ; God Father, John “Pumpkin” Smith, who preceded him in death. God Mother, Edith “Edie” Smith; God Sister, Brianna Smith ; Girlfriend, Allisa Nault ; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Jhamere fought a strong fight, and his soul is at true peace now. The battle was never his own, it was the Lord’s. God took his hand, and victory has been won, He is and always will be “Victorious.”

Rest  In Peace Jhamere
