James S. Wisniewski

James Stanley Wisniewski, age 62, passed away June 17, 2023.

James was the loving father of James M. (Meghan Gillenwater) Wisniewski, Austin (Tarah) Wisniewski, and Alana Deel; grandfather of Joslyn; dear son of the late Stanley and the late Eleanor Wisniewski; and brother of Laurie (the late Bob) Torick, Judy (Gary) Gendron, Shirl Wisniewski, and Cindy (Mike) Edwards. He was also survived by his first love and best friend, Stacy, and many nieces and nephews.

James Wisniewski loved his kids more than anything. He loved his truck and always made sure it was clean, even when it was going to rain.  He loved a good breakfast from Bob Evans or Shoney's. He loved to go bowling, hunting, and fishing with his brother in-law, Mike. If you ever needed to know how to make good Golumpki, he would be sure to remind you not to add too much onion soup mix. Above all, he had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He wore his emotions on his sleeve. He will be missed by many. 

Although he never got a chance to meet his granddaughter, they shared many conversations and laughs over the phone that will last forever in our hearts.

Visitation Thursday, June 22, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service held at 7:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. For anyone who would like to be with the family for the interment services and burial, they will take place at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, June 23, at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 18430 Utica Road, Roseville, Michigan. Everything will be taking place at the cemetery, and we will be meeting directly there.
