Gordon E. Tallman

Gordon E. Tallman, age 88, passed away November 26, 2021.

Gordon was the beloved husband of Shirley L. Tallman for 67 years; loving father of Donald (Sandra) Tallman and Laura (Kenny) Lynch; devoted grandfather of Adam (Katie) Wejroch, Nathan (Nicole) Tallman, Andrew (Augusta) Tallman, and Summer (Jared) Hickok; proud great-grandfather of Grant, Claire, Harper, Weston, Reece, Grace, Vivian, Henry, Asher, and Sawyer; and dear brother of Frank Tallman and William McNeil.

Gordon was born to Frank and Pearl Tallman in Detroit, Michigan on August 20, 1933. He was a hard worker and retired in 1987 from GMC – Truck & Bus Group where he was a safety engineer. Gordon was a longtime member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America, a longtime member of the Shasta Wing Camping Group, and was an avid antique car enthusiast. Gordon loved spending time up north with friends and family at his cabin in Luzerne, Michigan. He also was proud to be a charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warren, Michigan. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

A private family service with interment at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan will be held for Gordon, according to his wishes. Arrangements are under the direction of David Wysocki Funeral Home in Warren, Michigan.
