George J. Spix, age 97, passed away November 16, 2020.

George was the beloved husband of the late Helene Spix; loving father of George Spix, the late Cathy Hefner, Thomas (Christine) Spix, Robert (Mary) Spix, and Mary (Jay) Zimmerman; devoted grandfather of Andy (Anna) Spix, Teresa Spix, Nathan (Anna) Spix, Elizabeth (Amber) Chunn, Justin Spix, Erin Spix, Jason (fiancé Breana Patterson) Zimmerman, Sarah (Richard) Rangel, and Brian (Karlie) Zimmerman; and dear brother of Rosemary Hede, the late Marie Brown, the late John, and the late Joe Spix.

Visitation Thursday, November 19, 5 – 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Rosary Service at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan, Warren. Instate Friday, November 20, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Louise de Marillac Church, Warren. Both the Rosary Service and Mass will be streamed on the Zoom App. Meeting ID: 906 841 3133. Password: 29440. Masks are mandatory at all services. Our current capacity at the funeral home is limited to 25 people. Please follow the directions of our staff so that we may be able to get everyone through to pay their respects and keep everyone safe. Also, please try to keep social distancing.
