George Corneliussen

George Corneliussen, age 88, passed away November 27, 2021.

George was the beloved husband of Anne Corneliussen; loving father of Paul (Joy) Corneliussen and Mary Ann Corneliussen; devoted grandfather of Kirsten (Alex Rosenau) Corneliussen, Sara Corneliussen, and Hanna Corneliussen; and dear brother of the late Alice Gyldholm-Sealy and the late Fritz Gyldholm.

Anne and George had a love that lasted over 64 years.  Anne recalled, “He was my one and only, I knew it the first time our eyes met...and so did he.” 

George was known by his quiet smile, caring heart and his deep devotion to his wife, Anne, until the very end.  Before he passed, he was able to spend time with his family.  He gave them the gift of love and kindness.  A gift they will treasure forever.  George was also very proud of his Danish heritage and loved the story-telling from memories of Denmark.

George’s life will be celebrated by family and friends and his memory will live on always.
