Gail S. (Bennett) Eddy

Gail S. Eddy, age 84, passed away April 13, 2022.

Gail was the beloved wife of the late Leroy Eddy; loving mother of Cindy (Paul) Rekowski, Tammy Weaver, the late Debby (the late Allan) Debuck, and Mark Eddy; devoted grandmother of Nichole (Alan Buelow) Rekowski, Stephanie Rekowski, Jeffrey Rekowski, Jason Weaver, Eric (Devon) Weaver, and Bryan (Stevie) Weaver; proud great-grandmother of 6; dear sister of Rob (Louise) Bennett; and mother by love to Tara (Larry) Rekowski. 

Gail was a woman of many passions in life. She loved to stay active, was always engaging with her family and larger communities in unique and impactful ways and was deeply religious and spiritual. She was an avid bowler and golfer. She was an active member of St. Rene and felt a special connection with angels. But she was always crafting, sewing, and crocheting. She made costumes, clothes, blankets, hats, crosses, and countless other things for family and multiple charity efforts. She also loved hockey and was a life long Detroit Red Wings fan. She also studied at Burroughs Business College.

Instate Tuesday, April 19, from 9:00 a.m. until the 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church, 35955 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights.
