Denise M. Dolata, age 66, passed away January 10, 2021.

Denise was the beloved wife of Rick Dolata for 47 years; loving mother of Shannon Dolata and Jesse (Sarah) Dolata; devoted mema of Hailey and Max Burk, Dominic, Caleb, and Rebecca Dolata; dear daughter of Virginia (the late Ralph) Kay and the late Ronald Martina; and sister of Lynne (Cecil) Rice, Ronald Martina, Cheri (Rick) Nelson, and Cindy (the late Robert) Adams.

Denise loved to spend her free time up north, exploring new projects at their home to finish with her husband, who she loved more than anything. On weekends, at home, she loved to take the time she had to go out and watch her grandchildren play their sports. In the summertime, Denise enjoyed taking Harley rides and going on the adventures with her husband, Rick. Everyone loved her homemade birthday cakes; they were better than anyone else's. She was the best hair braider for her granddaughters. She was the best with a sewing machine. There was nothing she could not fix. Denise was the rock of her family, she was always so strong, and had the biggest heart, the biggest smile, and the warmest hugs. She would never say no, if anyone needed anything at all she was always the first person there. Denise was also so wise and kind, she was the person you would want to go to whenever you needed anything at all; she had all the answers.

The family will be gathering for a memorial visitation to share and celebrate her life. This will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, MI 48092. Masks are currently mandatory and our capacity is 25 people at any one time, so please be patient so everyone can pay their respects in a timely and orderly fashion. If any restrictions change, we will make those changes here.
