Christopher Cho

Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to many, Christopher Cho from Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Michigan passed away unexpectedly near his childhood home in Massachusetts on October 1, 2020 at the age of 54 years.  He departed this earth with an overfilled heart doing what made him happy; visiting lifelong friends and staying by the ocean.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Thayer-Rock Funeral Home located at 33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI 48335. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am before the service. Details for the funeral luncheon will be provided at the service. Visitation will be held at Thayer-Rock on Saturday, October 10, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Chris is survived by his mother, Jeannette, sister Joanne (Christophe), brother Michael (Inga), nephew Alexandre, niece Camille, niece Charlotte, nephew Jacques, niece Annika, and nephew Markus. Chris was an avid sports fan, excelled at hitting softballs out of the park and memorizing trivial sports statistics. He was most well known for being the world's most proud uncle and godfather - roles that meant so dearly to him. Chris had a soft spot for animals of every walk of life and wherever he was living, he devoted a lot of time caring for strays and wild animals.  He truly was happy to help a friend with yard work or provide a plate of kibble to a furry soul in a moment’s notice. Chris joins his cherished Gabby the Tabby which makes us all smile in our hearts.

Masks are mandatory at all services and capacity is still restricted, so please follow the directions of the staff so we may keep everyone safe.
