Charlene C. (Biscorner) Kurzawa

Charlene C. Kurzawa, age 89, passed away January 6, 2023. She was born to the late Norman and the late Stella Biscorner

Charlene was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Kurzawa; loving mother of Robert and William Kurzawa; devoted grandmother of Raquel (Kohl) Davila; dear sister of Martin Biscorner, Norma Doherty, and Joyce Rust. She loved taking care of her pet dogs over the years, Queenie 1 and 2, Kegger, Fudge, and the most recent, Fudge 2.

Charlene was very sporty in her younger years. She especially enjoyed her days playing fast pitch softball and was, amazingly, a speed skater, and played many other sports. She loved sitting down to watch a Detroit Tigers game. She liked getting into the outdoors through tending her flower garden. The holidays were her favorite times of the year, most of all, Christmas. Getting together with for the big family Christmas party was always one of the highlights of her year. In general, though, she was a casual person who loved her family more than anything. She was the nicest, sweetest person you could ever hope to meet, kindhearted, and fun loving.

Visitation Wednesday, January 11, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Michigan Humane Society.
