Kenneth J. Kowalski

Kenneth John Kowalski, age 74, passed away August 5, 2024.

Ken was the beloved husband of the late Christine A. Kowalski; loving father of Michael K. (Janette) Kowalski; devoted grandfather of Abigail A. Kowalski; brother of the late Bernie (the late Nora) Kowalski, the late Ted (the late Dolly) Kowalski, Phyllis Hempel, Lorraine (John) Grzywack, Pat (the late Don) Wolons, and Eugene (the late Christine) Kowalski; brother-in-law of Paul (Teresa) Lewandowski and Dennis (Debbie) Lewandowski. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and his beloved dog and companion, Simon.

Ken worked hard during his life and provided a good living for his family through his long career at General Motors of over 40 years. He served his country and was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Beyond his family, friends, and career, Ken liked to play card games, especially poker and euchre, solving puzzles, and watching movies. He liked getting outside to go fishing once in a while. He also liked to take the edge off with a nice shot of Southern Comfort.

Visitation Sunday, August 11, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Funeral Service Monday, August 12, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Gathering time for the service will begin at 9:00 a.m. and interment and military honors will follow at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.

Donations may be made to either the Michigan Humane Society or Michigan Veterans Home in Chesterfield Township.
