Emily Nakhleh

Emily Nakhleh, a loving mother and cherished Teta, was born on February 20, 1939, in Syria. She was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. On December 2, 2025, Emily passed away peacefully in her sleep, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever be etched in the hearts of her family.

Throughout her life, Emily was not only known for her nurturing spirit but also for her extraordinary culinary skills. Her delectable cooking and baking brought joy to countless family gatherings, filling homes with the comforting aromas and flavors that only a dedicated cook could conjure. She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved, whether it was around the dinner table or in her beautiful garden, where she found tranquility amongst the blooms.

Emily is survived by her beloved children: Maria Leland (Craig), Eli Nakhleh (Nada), and George Nakhleh, who each carry a piece of her heart with them. The joy she felt as a grandmother was evident to all, as she cherished her grandchildren: Andew, Emily, Sofie, Caleb, and Lila. Each of them held a unique place in her heart, filled with stories, laughter, and the kind of guidance that only a loving grandparent can provide.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Badi Nakhleh, who was her partner in life and love. Emily’s life was a testament to the strength of family ties and the nurturing bonds that can transcend generations.

A Viewing to honor her memory will take place on December 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, located at 29440 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092.

Emily Nakhleh’s gentle spirit, culinary talents, and loving nature will forever be remembered. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends, and her memory will continue to shine brightly in their lives.
