Wife of the late Leonard and mother of Debbie (Adam) Warren. Dolores is also survived by her grandson, Matthew, many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Dolores followed family members to the Detroit metro area shortly after high school graduation in Pennsylvania where she met Leonard on a blind date, and they were married on August 1, 1964 and were married for 51 years before his passing.
Dolores was a Girl Scout Registrar and Cookie manager; was involved in numerous Queen of Apostles activities over the years including Christian Service Commission Chairperson, planned Q of A picnics and Rummage sales along with her committee, managed monthly Coffee and Cake after masses for many years, member of Q of A Seniors Group, member of Q of A Parish Council, 100th Anniversary committee, Q of A Counting Committee, was involved with Q of A Soup Kitchen until earlier this year, Q of A Lector/Commentator.
Visitation Friday, December 16, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Instate Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, 11200 Conant, Hamtramck, Michigan. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dolores’ name to Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic Church.
