Ann Marie Kulpa, 98, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on September 23, 1926, in Hamtramck, Michigan, Ann lived a life filled with joy, passion, and an unwavering dedication to her family.
Ann was a vibrant and feisty woman, known for her ability to take charge and keep her family organized. She took immense pride in raising her children, instilling in them the values that would guide their lives. Her deep love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she could often be found cheering from the sidelines at her grandchildren's various sports and activities. Ann’s nurturing spirit extended to every corner of her family tree, encompassing her beloved great-grandchildren as well.
Outside the comforts of family life, Ann had a variety of interests that filled her days with light. She found joy in gardening and had a particular fondness for flowers, which she tended to with great care. She also indulged in playing bingo, where her competitive spirit shone through. A proud descendant of Polish heritage, Ann enjoyed exploring her roots, cooking traditional dishes, and sharing the culture with her loved ones. An avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan, she relished the thrill of attending games and faithfully supported her team from her living room when she could no longer make the journey to the ballpark.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Kulpa, who was her partner in love and life. Together, they built a beautiful family, which she cherished above all else. She leaves behind her four devoted children: Michael (Gloria) Kulpa, Beverly (Lee) Leitch, John Kulpa, and Cynthia (Franco) Cimaroli. Her spirit will continue to live on through her grandchildren: Michael (Elena), Tiffany, Jennifer, Stephanie (David), Matthew, and Franco (Judit), as well as her great-grandchildren, Gianna, Gabriella, Parker, Savannah, Saylor, Cora, Reagan, Isaac, Micah, Lily, and Lucas.
