Dorothy J. (Thornton) Higby

Dorothy Joyce Higby, age 90, passed away October 15, 2023.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Higby; loving mother of Dr. Kenneth (Diane) Higby, Raymond (Mary) Higby, Thomas (Linda) Higby III, Michael (Maria) Higby, James (Cindy) Higby, Robert Higby, and Stephanie Higby; devoted grandmother of 13 and many great-grandchildren.

Dorothy's top priorities in life were her family and her faith. She loved being a mother and completely adored being a grandmother. She would do anything for her kids and grandkids if it were within her power. She was a devoted Catholic and had a power faith and was active in her churches over the years.

Visitation Friday, October 20, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Instate Saturday, October 21, from 10:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 Twelve Mile Road, Warren, Michigan. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
