Patty Jo Dahmen

Patty Jo Dahmen, age 67, passed away December 23, 2019.

Patty was the loving daughter of Rita and the late Joseph Dahmen; dear sister of the late Jerry Dahmen, Kathy (Frank) Brabenec, and Michael (Denise) Dahmen; devoted aunt of Mark, Paul, Julie, Sheri (Joseph), Stacey (Kevin), Christopher, and the late Joseph William; and proud great-aunt of Samantha, Jessica, Jason, Joseph, Matthew, Nico, Arielle, Aidan, Amelia, and Alayna.

Patty was a graduate of the Detroit College of Business, fulfilling a dream of hers.  She was also a hard worker.  She was an executive secretary for General Motors. She retired from the Warren Tech Center after working for about 25 years at GM.  Patty would help anyone, if she could.  Her specialty was in communication with others.  She gave good council, was a great listener, she never judged you, and was generous and giving with her time and energy.  Patty loved the joy of playing music, she played the organ for many years.  She had an affinity for music and collected music boxes. Above all she just loved talking to other people.  Having people in her life that she could talk to gave her a purpose and brought her a distinct kind of joy.

A memorial service will be held for Patty on Saturday, January 18, family and friends are welcome to gather starting at 10:00 a.m. with the service starting at 11:00 a.m. at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road in Warren, Michigan.
