With deepest sorrow, we announce Michael Cameron Duncan age 39 our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend passed suddenly on Friday October 4, 2019 in the hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Michael Cameron Duncan age 39 passed away suddenly October 4th at Harper Hospital surrounded by family and friends . Mike is survived by his parents Rosemary and Darron Duncan, sisters Stephanie and Samantha. Many nieces, and nephews, and many great friends and bar patrons and will be missed by all. Mike was predeceased by his brothers Darron Jr. and Robert William (Billy) Mike grew up in Dearborn Heights, MI with his mother, father, and sisters Stephanie and Samantha. He graduated from Dearborn High School in 1998. Mike attended Wayne State University, majoring in Journalism and minoring in French. Mike adored music, arts and of course anyone who met him knew his love for sports. Mike worked at Mario’s Restaurant in Detroit, MI as a bartender and bar manager for the past 5 years. He enjoyed bantering with his customers, speaking French when he had the chance, bowling and playing golf each week with his dear friends. He was so caring and spent much of his time with his nieces and nephew cheering them on and being a person who supported those who have had their own losses. Mike loved so many and was loved by so many more. His cat Bacon who misses him dearly will be cared for by his family. His warm energy, especially when discussing sports, will be remembered.

The service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cathedral 1828 Jay Street Detroit, MI 48207at 11:00 am Tuesday October 15, 2019. Following the service we invite friends and family to Mario’s Restaurant 4222 Second Ave Detroit, MI 48201.
