Maria (Gurla) Bielecki

Maria Bielecki, age 92, passed away April 6, 2024.

Maria was the beloved wife of the late Serafin Bielecki; loving mother of Gerri Kaniewski, Steve Bielecki, and the late Roman Bielecki; devoted grandmother of Tanya Kaniewski, Sheila Kaniewski, Chrissy (Darryl) Patterson, and Brenna Bielecki; and proud great-grandmother of Eleanor Patterson.

Maria loved to play her luck and get out of the house by going to bingo night or go play her slot machines. She took pride in caring for her home and family. A perfect example of this was the care she gave her garden, including her roses and other flowers. She also loved to indulge her families' sweet tooth through her wonderful baking and nourished them with her love and skill of cooking.  Above all, she loved watching her family grow up and mature around her, a different but even more rewarding garden than her flowers.

Visitation Wednesday, April 10, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Instate Thursday, April 11, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Parish (formerly St. Cletus Church), 26256 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.

Donations in Maria's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
